I struggle with terrible back pain. I was a professional dancer and have a re-occurring back injury. It always hurts but when it goes out I cannot move or put weight on my legs for weeks. Today was day 5 of not moving. I managed to get out of the house and my mother drove me to this place for a float session.
I could hardly walk in from the parking lot- every step hurt so bad that it made it hard to breathe. I floated for an hour and a half. Afterwards I braced myself to get out and was ready to sit on the chair to shower when I realized I could stand. I walked out and to the care with so much relief. I know my pain is chronic and gravity will do it’s work again- which is why I booked another session for tomorrow. My plan is to come a few times a week.
Honestly if you have chronic pain I highly recommend this. I will admit I was skeptical having bounced from orthopedic doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massages, etc… this is by far the best thing I have tried for pain. Also the owner is awesome and the facilities are clean and welcoming. Ron has so much compassion for people struggling with pain as he has been through more than most of us can imagine. So whether you just need to disconnect, meditate, get an epsom salt soak, etc- book a session!!! ( note: do not taste the salt, and be prepared to fully shower after- if you plan on going anywhere bring your makeup!)
