My husband treated me to a float session and I absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back. At 29 weeks pregnant this was one of the best things I have done for my body. The sensation of feeling weightless in the pool was absolutely incredible – especially given the kinds of strains my body has had with being pregnant. The fact that you have sensory deprivation also means that you are much more aware of your baby and his movements – it was like a bonding session for us two in there!
I will probably continue to treat myself to the float sessions even after I am pregnant as the feeling of absolute calm and relaxation is something I was not expecting but was incredible. I slept so well that night (which is saying a lot in my current predicament) and felt in such a calm state the whole day. I agree with the previous review – it is a total body reset.
All the staff were really wonderful and explained everything (which can be overwhelming the first time). Thanks again!
