For someone who practices yoga, occasional meditation and seeks isolation in nature on a regular basis, I was amazed at how much the experience in the tank had to offer. I achieved greater meditative calm than ever before. I realized truths about myself and revisited significant childhood memories in detail. I think that the setting and commitment involved with the process reduce the mind’s ploys to escape.
Every float has been better than the prior. With three under my belt, I look forward to more.
A few tips:
– bring a change of clothes: you’ll need to shower before and after,
– hydrate and use the bathroom before
– just relax, there is nothing you need to accomplish in the tank.
